Nervous system integration support for post-crisis recovery and self-leadership.
Introduction
Metamorphosis Wellness is a space for post-crisis nervous system integration, recovery from emotionally abusive or coercive relationships, and the development of self-leadership.
This work is for people whose life may look stable on the outside, but whose nervous system is still responding as if safety has not been established.
The focus is not on fixing, diagnosing, or revisiting the past, but on restoring internal steadiness, rebuilding self-trust, and supporting grounded choice in the present.
Professional Recognition
Madalina Nicolescu is the recipient of the Best Integrative Trauma Healing Coach 2026 (UK) award.
She was also honoured with the GHP Embodied Nervous System Wellness Excellence Award 2026, recognising her work in post-crisis nervous system integration and embodied recovery support.
These awards reflect a commitment to ethical, trauma-informed and integrative practice rooted in psychology, neuroscience and lived understanding.

What I Do
I support adults who feel stuck in survival responses such as hypervigilance, shutdown, or chronic overwhelm, even after external circumstances have changed.
Through nervous system education, regulation practices, and embodied awareness, this work supports:
- Understanding how your nervous system responds to stress and threat
- Reducing chronic overwhelm, shutdown, and hypervigilance
- Rebuilding self-trust, boundaries, and internal stability
- Developing self-leadership and grounded decision-making
My Approach
This work is guided by three core principles:
1. The body leads integration
Nervous system education and somatic practices support a shift from survival responses into regulation and stability.
2. Trauma requires consent and pacing
This work is grounded in psychology, ethics, and abuse awareness. There is no forcing, diagnosing, or pushing for insight.
3. Integration goes beyond survival
Once stability is present, the focus expands to self-leadership, emotional capacity, and living with clarity and agency.

My Story
My work is shaped by lived experience of domestic violence and by long-term study of how trauma and chronic stress are held in the body.
After more than a decade in London, I saw how many people continue to function outwardly while their nervous system remains organised around threat long after danger has passed.
This experience led me to train in trauma-informed coaching, domestic abuse awareness and advocacy, nervous system education, and embodied regulation practices.
I do not work from theory alone. Everything I offer is informed by direct experience, professional training, and personal integration.
What Working With Me Feels Like
You can expect:
- A safe, calm and well-boundaried space
- No diagnosing, no rescuing, no spiritual bypassing
- Sessions paced with your nervous system, not external timelines
- Practical tools from psychology, neuroscience and embodiment
- Lived experience and evidence based practice side by side
This work does not promise quick transformation. It supports steady change, increased capacity, safer relationships, and decisions led by clarity rather than fear.
