This Client Agreement sets out the terms under which 1:1 Applied Practice is provided by Metamorphosis Wellness.

Please read this Agreement carefully before booking a paid session. By booking a paid 1:1 Applied Practice session and confirming your acceptance during the booking process, you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of 1:1 Applied Practice

1:1 Applied Practice provides structured, evidence-informed, non-clinical support for adults navigating post-crisis recovery, nervous system integration, emotional regulation, boundaries and sustainable self-leadership.

Sessions may include:

  • nervous system education;
  • structured reflection;
  • embodied and regulation-based practices;
  • exploration of present-day patterns and responses;
  • boundary awareness;
  • development of self-trust and internal reference points;
  • practical application to everyday relationships, decisions and circumstances.

The work is collaborative and paced according to the client’s current circumstances and capacity.

2. What the Service Is Not

1:1 Applied Practice is not:

  • psychotherapy or counselling;
  • psychiatric assessment or treatment;
  • psychological diagnosis;
  • medical diagnosis or treatment;
  • crisis or emergency intervention;
  • legal or financial advice;
  • a substitute for appropriate medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or specialist support.

Madalina Nicolescu does not act as a psychotherapist, psychiatrist, medical practitioner or diagnosing clinician within this service.

No diagnosis will be made of you or of another person in your life.

3. Suitability of the Service

1:1 Applied Practice is intended for adults who are no longer in immediate crisis and who have sufficient stability to engage in non-clinical support.

The service may not be appropriate where there is:

  • immediate danger;
  • an acute psychological or psychiatric crisis;
  • significant or immediate risk of harm to self or others;
  • an urgent medical or psychiatric need;
  • a situation requiring emergency intervention;
  • a need for specialist clinical treatment beyond the scope of Applied Practice.

If at any point it appears that another form of support would be more appropriate, this will be discussed with you.

Metamorphosis Wellness reserves the right to decline, pause or discontinue services where the work falls outside the appropriate scope of practice or where continuing does not appear safe, appropriate or professionally responsible.

4. Emergency and Crisis Support

Metamorphosis Wellness does not provide emergency or crisis services.

If you are in immediate danger, at risk of harming yourself or another person, or require urgent medical, psychiatric or safeguarding support, you should contact the emergency or crisis services available in the country where you are physically located.

Clients are responsible for maintaining access to appropriate local medical, mental-health and emergency services where required.

5. Your Participation

Participation in 1:1 Applied Practice is voluntary.

You may:

  • decline an exercise;
  • pause a discussion;
  • request a change of pace;
  • choose not to discuss particular experiences;
  • decide not to engage with material that does not feel appropriate.

You are not required to retell traumatic experiences or revisit past events in detail in order to participate.

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions and use of information discussed during or between sessions.

The service is collaborative. It does not involve making decisions on your behalf or directing you towards a predetermined outcome.

6. Sessions

Standard 1:1 sessions are:

60 minutes

Sessions are normally delivered online.

Session frequency is agreed collaboratively and may change according to circumstances, needs and current capacity.

There is no predetermined number of sessions unless specifically agreed in writing.

7. Fees and Payment

The current fee is:

£115 per 60-minute session

Payment is taken through the booking process and must normally be completed before the appointment is confirmed.

Payment processing is provided through Stripe or another payment provider stated at the time of booking.

If you pay using a currency other than pounds sterling, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may apply currency-conversion or international transaction charges. These charges are outside the control of Metamorphosis Wellness.

Metamorphosis Wellness may change the price of future sessions by giving reasonable notice. Any change will not affect sessions that have already been booked and paid for.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a session by providing at least 48 hours notice.

If less than the required notice is provided, the full session fee may be charged.

If you do not attend a scheduled appointment and have not cancelled it, the full session fee may be charged.

Reasonable discretion may be exercised in exceptional circumstances.

If Metamorphosis Wellness needs to cancel a session, you will be offered either:

  • an alternative appointment; or
  • a refund or credit for the affected session.

9. Late Arrival

If you arrive late for an appointment, the session will ordinarily still finish at the scheduled time.

Reasonable flexibility may be offered where possible, but additional time cannot be guaranteed.

10. Free Orientation Conversation

The free orientation conversation is designed to help determine whether 1:1 Applied Practice appears appropriate for your circumstances and what you are seeking from support.

The orientation conversation is not psychotherapy, treatment or a paid 1:1 session.

Neither you nor Metamorphosis Wellness is under any obligation to continue into paid work following the orientation conversation.

11. Your Right to Withdraw

Where applicable consumer law provides a statutory right of withdrawal, consumers entering into an online service contract will generally have 14 days from the date the contract is concluded in which to withdraw without giving a reason.

If you book a session within the 14-day withdrawal period

If you wish your first paid session to take place before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, you will be asked to expressly request that the service begins during that period.

If you subsequently withdraw after part of the service has already been provided at your request, you may be required to pay for the proportion of the service that has already been supplied.

Where a service has been fully performed during the withdrawal period following the required express agreement and acknowledgement, the statutory right of withdrawal may cease in accordance with applicable consumer law.

To exercise a statutory right of withdrawal where it applies, please contact:

contact@metamorphosiswellness.org

and clearly state that you wish to withdraw from the contract.

Nothing in this Agreement is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

12. Cancellation Policy and Statutory Withdrawal Are Different

The ordinary appointment cancellation policy in Section 8 relates to cancelling or rescheduling a booked appointment.

Any statutory right of withdrawal available under consumer law is a separate legal right and is not replaced by the appointment cancellation policy.

13. No Guarantee of Outcome

Human circumstances, responses and outcomes vary.

Metamorphosis Wellness does not guarantee any particular:

  • emotional outcome;
  • behavioural outcome;
  • relationship outcome;
  • professional outcome;
  • therapeutic or clinical outcome;
  • recovery timeframe;
  • life result.

References to potential benefits describe areas the work may support and should not be interpreted as guarantees.

Change may be gradual, uneven or different from what was initially expected.

14. Confidentiality

Information shared during private sessions is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with the Metamorphosis Wellness Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Confidentiality may have limits where:

  • disclosure is required by applicable law;
  • there is another appropriate lawful basis for disclosure;
  • information indicates a serious and immediate risk to life or safety;
  • disclosure is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where reasonably possible and appropriate, significant confidentiality concerns will be discussed with you before information is disclosed.

Because Metamorphosis Wellness works internationally, applicable legal obligations may depend on the jurisdiction involved and the specific circumstances.

15. Privacy and Personal Data

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Metamorphosis Wellness Privacy Policy.

Information processed in connection with 1:1 Applied Practice may include:

  • name and contact details;
  • booking and appointment information;
  • payment and administrative records;
  • correspondence;
  • information voluntarily shared in connection with the service;
  • limited session-related notes where reasonably necessary.

Some information voluntarily shared during the work may constitute sensitive or special-category personal data under applicable data-protection law.

By booking a paid session, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to read the Metamorphosis Wellness Privacy Policy.

16. Session Notes

Metamorphosis Wellness may maintain brief session-related notes where reasonably necessary for continuity, administration, professional boundaries or safety.

These notes are not medical, psychiatric or psychotherapy records.

They will be stored and retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

17. Online Sessions and Technology

Online sessions require a suitable internet connection and, where reasonably possible, a private environment in which you can participate without interruption.

You are responsible for:

  • the device from which you attend;
  • your internet connection;
  • choosing an appropriate physical environment;
  • protecting your own privacy at your location.

Reasonable efforts are made to use reliable online systems, but no internet-based communication system can be guaranteed to be entirely uninterrupted or completely secure.

If technical problems materially disrupt a session, an appropriate alternative arrangement may be agreed.

18. International Clients

Metamorphosis Wellness is operated from Romania and may provide online non-clinical services to clients in different countries.

The service remains non-clinical regardless of the client’s location.

You agree to provide accurate information about the country in which you are physically located while receiving services where reasonably requested for safety, legal, insurance or administrative purposes.

You are responsible for maintaining access to appropriate local medical, mental-health, legal and emergency services where required.

Metamorphosis Wellness may decline, pause or discontinue work where legal, insurance, professional or safety considerations make provision of the service inappropriate.

19. Communication Between Sessions

Unless otherwise agreed, communication between sessions is intended primarily for:

  • scheduling;
  • administration;
  • practical clarification relating to appointments.

Email and messaging are not crisis-support services and should not be relied upon for urgent emotional, medical, psychiatric or safeguarding support.

Responses outside sessions may not be immediate.

20. Professional Boundaries

The relationship between client and practitioner is professional.

1:1 Applied Practice does not provide:

  • friendship;
  • emergency availability;
  • unlimited access between sessions;
  • rescue or crisis services.

Clear professional boundaries are maintained to support the safety and integrity of the work.

21. Ending the Work

You may choose to end 1:1 Applied Practice at any time.

Where appropriate, you may choose to discuss this in a final session, but you are not required to do so.

Metamorphosis Wellness may also pause or discontinue the work where:

  • the service is no longer appropriate;
  • the work falls outside the agreed professional scope;
  • specialist or clinical support appears necessary;
  • agreed boundaries are repeatedly not respected;
  • payments remain outstanding;
  • legal, insurance or safety considerations require discontinuation.

Where reasonably possible, the reason will be discussed with you.

22. Complaints

If you have a concern or complaint about the service, you are encouraged to raise it directly so that it can be considered fairly and promptly.

Complaints can be submitted to:

contact@metamorphosiswellness.org

Where appropriate, a written record of the complaint and response may be retained.

If your complaint concerns the processing of personal data, you may also have the right to complain to an appropriate data-protection supervisory authority.

23. Intellectual Property

Materials, worksheets, educational resources, frameworks and other content supplied by Metamorphosis Wellness remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights unless explicitly stated otherwise.

They are provided for your personal use.

Unless you have prior written permission, you may not:

  • reproduce them for public distribution;
  • publish them;
  • sell them;
  • commercially exploit them;
  • present them as your own work;
  • teach or distribute proprietary material to others.

This includes material relating to the Metamorphosis Integration Model where applicable.

24. Recording Sessions

Neither the client nor Metamorphosis Wellness may audio-record, video-record or otherwise record a private session without the prior explicit agreement of both parties.

25. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

Metamorphosis Wellness is operated from Romania.

This Agreement is intended to be interpreted in accordance with applicable law while preserving any mandatory consumer-protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Where you are a consumer residing in another jurisdiction, nothing in this Agreement is intended to deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

26. Changes to This Agreement

Metamorphosis Wellness may update this Agreement where reasonably necessary because of changes in services, law, administration or professional practice.

The current version will be published on the website.

Where a material change affects an ongoing client relationship, reasonable notice will be provided where appropriate.

Changes will not retrospectively alter services that have already been provided.
